이번곡도 사실은 잘 알려진 곡과는 다른 버전입니다. 1959년 Perry Como버전입니다. 크리스마스하면 빙크로스비를 떠올리지만, 전 Perry Como를 첫손에 꼽습니다. 

먼저 이곡은 original 가사에 상상력으로 다른 가사를 덧붙힌것으로 생각됩니다. 은하수를 따라 여행을 다녀오던 동료 (Mother Nature, Tooth fairy등등) 가 돌아오는 길에 산타빌리지에 들러 장난감을 만드는 공장을 둘러보며 산타가 어떻게 선물을 주는 아이들을 고르는지를 보고 듣고는 그 이야기를 세상의 아이들에게 해주는 형식이지요. 아마도 이 버전으로는 처음 들으시는 분들이 대부분일 겁니다. 한국에서 가장 유명한 버전은 "울면 안돼...짬뽕안돼.... 주방장이 쉬는 날이래..." 뭐 이러던 개그버전도 있구요. 

산타할아버지는 우는 아이에게 선물을 안주신데 라는 협박을 저도 지수에게 참 많이 했던것 같습니다. ㅎㅎㅎ 

밝고 명랑한 캐롤을 부르고 있지만, 현재 제 가슴은 찢어집니다. 흑흑흑!! 

오늘 제 오른손 두번째 손톱이 확 부러지는 사고를 당했습니다. 엉엉엉!!

오른손인 관계로 기타줄을 제대로 퉁기지 못한답니다. 적당한 길이가 될때까지 세밀한 연주는 못하게 되었습니다. 캐럴 시리즈는 몇곡 녹음 해두었으니 조금은 다행입니다만..... 흑흑흑

(핑구님 흉내를 좀 내보았는데, 워낙 그림에 소질이 없어서....ㅠㅠ)
