오랜만에 팝을 하네요.

Jim Croce의 Time in a bottle입니다. 

한국인이 좋아하는 팝에 꼭 들어가는 명곡이죠. Jim Croce는 안타깝게도 30이라는 젊은 나이에 비행기사고로 목숨을 잃었습니다. 첫음반이 실패하고 천신만고끝에 다시 앨범을 냈는데, 그 앨범이 소위 대박이 났죠. 그렇게 그의 음악 커리어는 순탄해보였습니다. 그러나 그렇게 바쁘게 활동을 하고 새로운 앨범을 내고 홍보하고 하는 순간에 사고를 당한거죠. 

시간을 병에 담아 둘수만 있다면 당신과 내가 보내는 영원의 시간을 담아 영원히 당신과 나누리라 하는 애절한 사랑고백이 가사의 내용입니다. 정말 아름다운 가사뿐만아니라 Jim Croce의 기타연주는 정말 따를사람이 거의 없을만큼 아름다움으로 가득합니다.

지난해 8월에 우수리님과 아이미슈님이 신청해주신곡인데, 제가 게을러서 기타연습을 제대로 못하는 바람에 이렇게 늦어졌네요. 이번 연휴를 기회로 연습을 좀 했네요.  늦어서 죄송합니다. ㅎㅎㅎ
