Judy Collins가 1967년 발표한 이 노래는 동양적인 철학을 담고 있다. "인생에는 양면이 있는거라구, 이 사람아. 달콤한 아이스크림 성같은 구름이 어딘가에서는 비와 눈으로 떨어지고, 얻는게 있으면 잃는 것도 있는게 바로 인생이지" 라고 옆에서 오랜 세월 체득한 인생의 오의를 들려주는 듯한 이 가사는 사실 내 인생의 길잡이가 되었다. 얻음이 있으면 잃는것도 있으리라.........

한동안은 내가 잃은 것에 원망을 많이 했지만, 이상하게 그 이후 모든게 잘 되어간다. 이 평범한 이치를 깨닫게 해주려 한 하나님의 배려일까 하는 생각이 들만큼.......

연습도 없이 기냥 불러재꼈더니 이상하네.......
