Frosty the snowman - sung by 빨간내복

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul

With a corn cop pipe and a button nose

And two eyes made out of coal

Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say

He was made out of snow

But the children know how he came to life one day

There must of been some magic in

That ol' silk cap they found

For when they placed it on his head

He began to dance around

Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be

And the children say he could laugh and play

Just the same as you and me

Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day

So he said lets run and have some fun before I melt away

Down to the village with a broom stick in his hand

Runnin' here and there all around the square

Sayin' catch me if you can

He led them down the streets of town

Right to the traffic cop

And he only paused a moment when he heard him holler stop

Frosty the snowman

Had to hurry on his way

But he waved goodbye sayin' don't you cry

역시 한국에서는 많이 알려지지 않고 잘 불려지지 않는, 그래서 한국말 가사도 없는 캐롤입니다. 이곳에서는 정말 많이 불리워지지요. 산타클로스, 스크루지와 더불어 만화나 영화의 주인공으로 많이 나오는 Frosty the snowman 입니다. 

한국에서는 눈사람을 2단으로 만들지만, 여기서는 3단으로 만듭니다. 코로 홍당무를 귀는 숯을 사용합니다. 또 모자와 목도리로 멋을 내기도 합니다. 어째서 여기선 3단으로 만들까요? 아무래도 좀 뚱뚱하다 보니....ㅎㅎㅎ 

암튼, 한국의 올 크리스마스는 눈소식이 있을것 같기도 하던데, 화이트크리스마스가 되길 기원합니다. 부러버....
